About Margaret

Born Adelaide, South Australia 1953.   Full-time painter/tutor since 1981.

Studied painting and drawing with several well-known South Australian professional artists over a 10 year period (oils, acrylics, pastels,drawing)  including a  4 year  Advanced Painting and Mixed Media course – Brighton Technical and Further Education.  Textile design Central School of Art.   Currently mainly work in oils. 

 TEACHING EXPERIENCE

  • General painting (oils/acrylics/pastels) – Brighton TAFE, Onkaparinga TAFE and Douglas Mawson TAFE (21 years – from 1981 – this included Brighton, Camden, Dover Gardens, Daws Road High and Panorama campuses).
  • Oil/acrylic tutor -  Artland, Clovelly Park since 1981.
  • Landscape and portrait painting tutor Glenelg Art Supplies.(oils).
  • Oil painting tutor -  Burnside Art Group and the Traditional Art Group, Kilkenny).
